Ambulatory Healthcare Services, a subsidiary of PureHealth – the UAE’s largest integrated healthcare platform – announced the reopening of Zakher Healthcare Center in Al Ain.
The center will reopen with a wide range of services including general medicine/ family medicine, chronic disease clinic, general dentistry, pediatric medicine, general internal medicine, women’s health clinic, well baby clinic, antenatal care, nutrition clinic, pre-employment and pre-university health screening, and vaccination supported by lab and pharmacy services.
Commenting on the opening, Dr Khulood Al Dhaleei, Chief Operating Officer of AHS, said: “We are pleased to welcome patients back to Zakher Healthcare Center in Al Ain. The center is reopening with a wide range of services to fulfill the needs of the Zakher community and surrounding communities like Al Shwaibah, Shiab Al Ashkhar, Al Khalidiya, and Al Ramla, to provide them with easy access to our medical services. The basis of all our centers is family medicine. Research has shown that patients who regularly follow up with a primary care doctor who handles most of their healthcare needs and coordinate their care with other specialties and hospitals have better health outcomes and a more comprehensive and consistent care.”
In her comments, Dr Durra Al Bloushi, Acting Director for Al Ain Healthcare Centers, said: “By choosing a primary care physician, patients will be able to build a long-term relationship with their doctor, which in turn will enable the doctor to provide personalized care and treatment plans, manage and have better control of the patient’s chronic diseases, and assist the patient in determining which specialist to see if he or she needs further care and communicate with the specialist to follow up on their treatment.”
The center opens from Monday to Friday from 7am to 10:30 pm. Patients can book an appointment through the SEHA call center 80050 or through WhatsApp on 024102200 or the SEHA app.
